Hong Kong Week in Burgundy
The “Hong Kong Week in Burgundy” is the first large-scale event ever to promote Hong Kong in Burgundy, France. The event will be held on 26 November – 14 December 2012.
Co-organised by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade, Brussels and the Burgundy Regional Council, the Hong Kong Week in Burgundy seeks to project the different facets of Hong Kong to people in Burgundy - Hong Kong as a popular tourist destination, as gateway to China and other Asian markets, as wine trading and distribution hub in Asia, and as arts and culture hub in the region, etc. through the following activities-
Photo exhibition on “Hong Kong as Asia’s World City” on 26 November – 14 December in Gallery, Burgundy Regional Council;
Business seminar on “Hong Kong – Wine trading and distribution hub in Asia” co-organised with the Burgundy Regional Chamber of Commerce on 29 November in Beaune;
Gala Dinner on 30 November in Chateau du Clos de Vougeot by Chinese Cuisine Training Institution of Vocational Training Council highlighting Hong Kong’s gastronomy and pairing of Chinese food with French wine; and
Concert on 1 December in Dijon Grand Theatre by RTHK Quartet and renowned Sheng player, Loo Sze Wang from Hong Kong, as well as Manfred Quartet from Burgundy.
